Herbs For Your Dog

Fitoterapia, after all, is the use of herbs in the treatment of many types of diseases. Here the emphasis of treatment is based strongly on the specific use of herbal roots, flowers and leaves to stimulate the healing process. Note that these plants are not a form of drugs (such as synthetic forms, such as aspirin), but strictly natural in content. Practiced for centuries, herbal medicine is probably one of the most primitive and fundamental uses of specific remedies to treat various illnesses, known today. How, though, the knowledge of herbal alternatives, with a tie in possession of an animal? Think for a moment. What wild animals, or even their pets, they often do when they are not good enough? Most instinctively seek appropriate herbs when they are sick. How many times have you seen your dog eat grass? Many man-made drugs are simply compounds based on the active ingredients found in many other herbs. A simple example might be the caffeine in coffee. Herbalists differ from most traditional medicinal methods at this point, however. Herbalists believe in the whole substance use not only the use of a party. They believe that the whole is far greater than the sum of one or more parties. Basically, herbs work much slower than traditional medicines (TM), even if they do many things like the TM-detoxifying the body, stimulating defecation and urination, and add vitamins and minerals in the system for patients already greatly needed. Herbal remedies have also been used to treat animals over the centuries for diseases such as arthritis, worms, diarrhea or constipation, diabetes, epilepsy, mange and cataracts, among others. Juliette Bairacli-Levy is an author who emphasizes the use of herbs in the treatment of many diseases related to pets. It also underlines the importance of freshly gathered herbs, natural diet and fasting. Probably the biggest drawback to herbal therapy would be the amount to be administered, very frequent intervals of administration, prolonged periods of time during which the administration must occur. In addition, many herbs do not taste good in its natural state and must be disguised in food. Again, if you're willing to play a full program management "drugs" in their proper intervals, herbal alternatives are very effective in treating and curing many types of diseases.
